A hard seltzer festival is coming to a city near you

Ok, maybe *now* we've reached peak-seltz

Oh, how I rue the day when I naively proclaimed that we’d reached peak hard seltzer. Because of course we hadn’t. We’re still rolling on a lightly sparkling wave of seltz-obsession.

The latest update in the boozy bubbles craze is that there’s going to be a hard seltzer festival.

Seltzer Land (yes, they have actually called it that) is an event that will tour cities across the US this spring and summer.

The event organisers promise a “one-of-a-kind immersive experience as you spend the afternoon tasting 100+ hard seltzers. Indulge in mouthwatering munchies, dance to live music, and bust out the ‘gram for the most insta-worthy moments.”

Which we think gives a good feel for the kind of festival you can expect...

Some of the biggest names in the hard seltzer universe will be on hand to supply their brands, as well as offerings from local brands in each city.

The list currently includes White Claw, Corona Hard Seltzer, Bon & Viv, Willie's Superbrew, Crook & Marker, Wild Basin, SeekOut Real Hard Seltzer, and Itz Spritz. Others that will be available in select cities include seltzers from Four Loko, Bolo, Hard Frescos, Bravazzi, Calicraft, Mural, Bud Light, San Juan, 10 Barrel Brewing, and Willie's Superbrew, as Thrillist reports.

"Hard seltzers sales have ‘spiked’ over the past year, and they’re not slowing down. Across the board, one thing is clear: everybody loves hard seltzer," said Kate Levenstien, the CEO and founder Cannonball Productions, which is the company behind the festival. "With new brands and flavors popping up every month, we want to create an opportunity for fans to explore their palates, and brands to showcase their variety through an immersive tasting experience."

Tickets for the festivals in Minneapolis, Chicago, New York City and Seattle are now on sale. Sign up here to get notified about when tickets will go on sale in your city.
