Autumn = almond, apricot and apple crumble

What better comfort food than a warming crumble and custard?

After seeing the wonderful @zahrashafiei's apple crumble the other day, I had to make one too!

This time of year for me just screams roast dinners and crumbles. Very British I know, but it's the best time of year as the foods become more comforting as you settle into the colder weather.

I made our crumble with almonds, apricots and apples, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. I love making an oaty crumble. I often take out 1/2 the flour and replace it with oats. Or if I'm feeling really oaty, I make it all with oats to make a flapjack topping.

Thank you Zahra for the inspiration!

  • Looooove it! 😍😍😍

    Sounds and looks so delicious!

I added oats too and I think it's a fantastic idea! Nuts + oats + crumble mix!

I wish I could taste it!

The great thing about crumble is how easy and quick and versatile it is!

I will make some plum crumble soon probably!
