Blueberry and dark chocolate breakfast smoothie

Time for another shake...

Another day, another breakfast. I'm going with blueberries today, because this shake has chocolate in it and chocolate for breakfast is always the right decision. Here's what you'll need:

1 Ripe banana

Shelled Walnuts

Frozen blueberries

Dark chocolate chips

Plain Greek yogurt

Almond milk

0 measuring cups because who has time to measure?

Start off like we did last time, putting your heavier items at the bottom of your cup first. This time it's the banana, make sure you break it up into quarters so you do not take up precious real estate.

Toss in a handful of walnuts and a handful of dark chocolate chips. Dark chocolate is healthy, so it's ok to have for breakfast.

Next, add your frozen blueberries. That "Max Fill" line is just a suggestion, trust me. Make sure you drop at least one blueberry on the floor to step on later. Not only will this send a sharp, freezing sensation through the bottom of your foot, you'll also have a nice blue and purple circular shaped stain on your kitchen floor to clean.

Drop a heaping spoonful of your favorite Greek yogurt on top of the berries. Lick the spoon before you put it in the sink to remind yourself that plain Greek yogurt really doesn't taste all that great by itself. Drown that yogurt with honey.

Pour in your almond milk or prefered liquid base. I use a lot more for this shake than my last one, I fill the cup about halfway full.

Blender time!

Pour your concoction into a glass and drink immediately. You'll like it, trust me.
